The Wolfe brothers, Gerard and Daniel, have been killing it for a while, and this year Daniel managed to take home the Irish National DH title. Here's a vid of them crushing it on the home turf and some words to go along.

The 2010 season is over; the cold weather has blown in and snow is starting to fall, a sign of another long winter in Ireland. If you were to wait on the weather, you would never get anything done. So, Daniel & Gerard got out in the muddy, frozen conditions with Ronan ‘Flexo’ Kavanagh for some filming. Flexo, a graphic designer by trade, began filming the Irish Downhill Series this year and is becoming a dab hand at it.

Big thanks to Ronan for the filming/editing & Brian Wolfe for the shuttling over the two days.

The big Volkswagen Crafter was packed to the roof with filming equipment & bikes for a few days of filming. Shots were taken in the Dublin & Wicklow Mountains. In Dublin, the guys where faced with strong winds, frozen ground & blue skies. In Wicklow, they were faced with a fresh muddy track, which was perfect for some sketchy moments.

Current Irish Downhill National Champion, Daniel Wolfe, showed how it’s done, shredding the wet conditions on dry tires. On the other hand, the fresh graduate, Gerard Wolfe, showed how to shred a pair of pants when caught by an unexpected cross wind in mid-flight!

The Wolfe Brothers will be competing in the Irish & British National Downhill Series, along with the IXS European cup series & selected World Cup events.

Gerard will be competing in the New Zealand Downhill Series in January, where he will prepare for the 2011 season. Check out Wolfe Racing for updates on training, events and reviews.
