Do you guys know of any manufacturers that make a truing stand for 12x160mm rear hubs?

The top of the range park one only seems to fit upto 150mm.

Thanks

ADAM

Just do it in the frame mate, in all my years I've never had a truing stand, nor felt the need for one. Waste of money, imho.

well, I'm not aware of any 160mm rear hubs, maybe you mean 165mm rear hubs? At any rate you need to fabricate an adapter for it to fit on a park stand. Iron Horse / Mad Catz and SIC team mechanics have done that.

Seb, you may have used your frame but im clearly not as good as you:D

Do you have pictures of the adapter?

The foes comes with a 160mm Hadley.

There must be a company that makes one to fit that size hub.

I actualy am the SIC team mechanic. I'll try to take a picture of my set-up some time and post it. To my knowledge there is no company that makes a stand that will fit a hub wider than 150mm. This has been a problem of increased discussion among pro wrenches since last year at Mt. Snow mainly.

On the lighter side though, for next year I don't think you'll be seeing too many hubs wider than 150mm, many companies now doing 165mm rear are switching to 150mm.
