Does anybody run a tubeless rim? I was just wondering because it seems like it would be a good idea since it's cheaper, lighter, and there are fewer hassles with changing tubes out. Which tubeless rims are stronger?

Cheaper?

I think not. Tubeless tires, rims, and sealant are all more than your basic wheel/tire/tube setup. And they have the hassle of actually making the tire seat, plus if you get a flat bye-bye tire.

i was under the impression tubless was slightly heavier? maybe i'm just misinformed...
The tires are heavier.

W/ a sealant tubeless weighs about the same as an XC tube and regular tire. I'll stick to that thank you very much.

I really don't like tubeless.

i have been running tubeless on evry bike i own for 3 years. i have converted many of my friends to roll ts lately and they all love it. its great and helps out tons with weight and rolling resistance. plus its almost impossible to flat which rocks

I'm down with the XC tube and regular tyre too. Talc it, it's all good. Messing around with Latex on a ride is too much.
