does anyone now of a good place to do some downhill riding in utah preferably some where close to ogden but i will settle for utah in general

This time of year about the only trails you can hit are in Bountiful, up by the letter "B" on the mountain. You'd want to hook up with some locals to find the trails. If you don't, you'll get lost up there and won't have much fun. I'd tell you to come ride with me, but my shuttle truck needs new ball joints and i don't have the cash to pay for them to be replaced yet. So no downhillin for me right now.

well i am planning on going to college at weber state and i want to find aplace close by so during the fall and summer quarters i can blow off some steam with a lil bit of riding. so right now just trying to get ideas

There's a ton of good xc trails out your way, but no DH specific trails. If you go pinnin it down one of those XC trails on your DH bike, you're going to piss off a lot of hikers and XC riders.
