Anybody Know anything about a 1991 Cannondale M1000 with a Full Campy group set right down to the hubs?
One came into the shop and the dude wants me to turn it into a beach cruiser.. I looked up what info I could find on the web but there is not much out there. Seems to be pretty rare.
I've turned a lot of cool mountain bikes into beach cruisers because I figured its their bike they can do what they want.
If this one is as rare as I think, (not a cannondale expert) I might get sick.

It may be vintage but that campy mtb group was shit so I don't think it's 'worth' much other than novelty.

Looks like the guy is going to cruise it on the beach, like I said, his bike, not mine. When you live in a town with 17 miles of beach that you can ride on, it kinda gets depressing watching bikes you couldn't afford when you were younger get destroyed within a week of hitting town. Next time I see it, I bet I will have to take the chain off with bolt cutters.
