Stopped at my favorite sleazy locals casino for Bao and coffee. This crunchy ass casino has this awesome diner that serves the best Bao and burgers.

Ate Japanese pork cutlets at this joint last night. So deliscious.

Business dinner went really well. I'm starting on two commercials for our local ski resort today. Gonna be a fun project and I can even work on it from Tahoe.

Hump that day yo.

M is off to the shop. Tow truck driver asked if I was putting it up for the winter. Apparently most people with RWD performance cars put them up for winter. Too bad I can't get Wifey to let me buy an older Impreza for winter driving...

Refrigerator repair man came today. Fridge is now cold and the water comes out of the door. Yeah!

Otherwise, finishing up winterizing the house. Final lawn mow, draining sprinklers, etc. Having Haley sick has its upsides, but the downside of missing work when I need to be training is frustrating.

just had a real uncomfortable meeting with my boss. apparently others in my dept are complaining about the amount of time i'm taking off.
So this post inspired me to check out our "official" PTO policy. 100% of unused hours roll over without loss, max total PTO accrual is 280 hrs. (7 weeks)

Jesus. Our days sound so similar. Besides the kid and German performance auto.
And replace fridge with dryer.

Mmm, tonkatsu.

We had our neighbors over for dinner last Sunday. I tried to get my wife to make chicken katsu (as close to tonkatsu as we're getting with her palate) but she said it was too much effort. We did ramen (our own recipe's sauce/broth) and Japanese curry instead, which is good but just not the same.

Not fun times at work. We are migrating from one B2B server to another and shit is not going smoothly at all. Partly to blame on this buildings want to do things against best business practices.

Not to mention, the department that is affected by the migration has two managers. Two managers that have differing opinions. They won't even meet in the same spot at the same time.

Bong shed here I come.

Real simple fix. Just wait until your little one is sick and coughing like most kids do, then take him to work for the day with you. Also make sure to change diapers on you desk and put the old ones in the break room trash. They will never complain about you taking family days again.
I'd opt to change the diapers on someone else's desk.
