aight i have a 24" rigid fork that i wanna extend about 2 1/4" jus to bring up my front end.ive already done all the measurements to see how itd change the frame geometry, and it came out cherry. So i guess my question is how sketchy would that be to extend if im a 130lb street rider, and i have a professional welder to do the job??? pleasee help.

-thanks.

Most riders dont know it, but you can put headtube spacers under the lower bearing races. Just put 2 inches of them and be done with it. You dont want to go cutting your fork or frame up willy nilly dude.

that wouldnt work because your steer tube tapers were the race goes so it would jus be sittin loose on the fork if i put spacers under it.right???

How about an XL version of the Identiti Rebate fork? If so I have one for sale.

465mm A2C length, 1-1/8" steerer and 10mm drops.

how muchh?

I paid $135 new in box for it. I installed it, rode around the parking lot and took it off. Other than the cut steerer it is brand new. Steerer has 6-3/4" left on it. PM me an offer if interested.
