yeah, i looked at the 250, but i'll have to run 26" wheels on it for a while before i can build a 24" set.

will it take a 26"?

here and there, sometimes
I think it is a perfect setup for an economical DJ'er, except for one important thing. I would swap out the V-drives for the X-drives (chromoly ones). When I got my Px I originally had the V-drives on there. After 8 straight days of Dj'ing, the BB was toast, and they are a little flexy for DJ. The X-drives are what I have now, and I believe are around the same price as the V's. I will never go back to aluminum cranks, the X-drives are awesome, stiff, and smooth.

yeah, they norco has brake mounts for both 24 and 26. The mounts for 24 are under the mounts for 26, a lot like some bmx bikes

Yeah, if you were to buy the 250 complete it comes with 26" wheels so i would assume that there would be clearance for a 26" wheel

I use a PX bar in a bmx stem, it fits. And if you use a mtb stem px bars come with shims.

Free Agent frames aren't really the greatest. I'd check out the px bomber cuz its cheap and its 4130, either that or the endless looks like its got nice geo for dirtjumping. And if you're gonna ride singlespeed check out the on-one gimp.

Ditch the FSAs, get profiles and forget about it.

I've got profiles on my DH bike and X drives on my DJ and urban hardtail.
There is nothing wrong with the Xdrives.
I'm very happy with the Xdrives, I wouldn't bother spending more on profiles.
Go for the Avid Cable disks, hydro cables are not the best for bailing out.
I'd reccommend a nice big seat like an SDG bigboy.
I've seen a few good deals on odessey twisted pro pedals (big bodies, replacable pins, cartridge bearings and strong axles.
My sets lasted over 2 years, they need new bearings now though.

i would def suggest avids.
1. there cheaper then hydros by alot, cambria bike is have a sale on them. front and rear and levers and cables for 189. you cant go wrong with that. I had them on my XC bike and actually traded them for hayes on my jumpin bike, casue all it takes is one bad x-up and there goes those expensive hoses and fluid all over the place (that stuff takes paint right off). Strong as an ox too.
2. well to think about it, its all up above. i love em
