I need to replace my the rear shock on my Santa Cruz Heckler. My rider weight is about 300 pounds. That's part of the reason I need to get my bike fixed and exercise a bit. I was originally looking for a coil shock with a lockout due to my weight but Fox informed me that they don't make anything like that.

I guess lockouts on shocks are out of style. The guy at fox suggested an air shock.

What air shock would work well for a rider of my weight? I would like a lockout but it's not essential if it can handle my weight.

Price is a big concern for me. My budget is very limited but I'll be shopping for something used on Ebay or Craigslist.
