Depends on the course as usual. Rocky and technical, get a strong sidewall. other than that just go for as fast a rolling tire as possible. Try to have a quiver of tires. Mutanoraptor are fast and lrge volume but still very light, Maxxis, Michelin both have excellent tires with great sideall protection and then there's the Nevegal tire by Kenda. It comes with different sidewalls, compounds and sizes.
