Where I thought they had multiple kits for the 36 Talas, but I guess not. Just this one "FOX® 36 TALAS II KIT Rebuild Kit 803-00-212 for 36mm TALAS 2 FORKS".
Nope, didn't know that. Its not my fork so I don't even know if it is working correctly or not.
I take it from your response that its not worth trying to do anything about it? Know of any work instructions available to the end user for doing this?

Yeah rebuilding those things is no small task. I think the v2s were the ones that had a bazillion different seals and the v3s are a little simpler. But none of them are a minor project to rebuild. You absolutely have to know what you're doing. Fox hosts a class just for working on those things.
It's probably sluggish because of oil in the lower part of the talas assembly..... relatively easy to remedy, though it does require cracking into the talas....
