They should make the lettering bigger.Annd just like that a pile of them turn up!

Forgot where you were. I'm sure MM is great in the sandy So Cal conditions. Random side note, I really like the DHF for a rear tire in sandy conditions if it's not too steep. It drifts so predictably and just keeps searching for traction even when it's going sideways.Socal
The tires worked well in wet Nisene loam

Did you ride Nisene Marks recently? Which trails did you ride? I love it down there. Drop a line next time you head that way.
Check with @dan-o - I believe that he does. And he, IIRC, is a wookie-sized human that rides like a complete hack. So his input may be quite valuable...So I did a quick search and didn't find much info... Has anyone here mad much experience with the Michelin Enduro line of tires yet?
IMO an improved WR2 would simply be a slightly wider WR2.@slyfink I've been on the Michelin Enduro since late last season.
I was hoping for an improved WildRockr2 but this aint it.
Exactly and ditch the enlongated center knobs for something that clears/penetrates soil better (like the e13).IMO an improved WR2 would simply be a slightly wider WR2.
Run the 2.35 out back in the Gum-X with a 2.5 Magi-X up front.
Fucking Michelin.
You have soil on your trails?Exactly and ditch the enlongated center knobs for something that clears/penetrates soil better (like the e13).
I'm probably just going to go back to WR2s once the trails dry up.
What the fuck are those things!!???Annd just like that a pile of them turn up!

Any thought as to why there are side knobs in the right side of the tire? What the fuck are those things!!???
BIG LETTERS!!!! LOUD NOISES!!!!!
GOODYEEEEAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
So goodyear makes bike tires eh?
I just expanded that picture to look at the treads.Any though as to why there are side knobs in the right side of the tire?
Just put a Newton on the front of the Honzo an hour ago, will take it out for a hoon tomorrow morning.... Mud, wet roots, rocks, techy grade5 trails. Should be a good 1st test.I just expanded that picture to look at the treads.
Nevermind.
Turns out goodyear does not in fact, make bike tires.
Actually that newton doesn't look too bad.
Grade 5 = expert or advanced.Waaaah
I haven't seen one in person yet, but I saw a picture of them mounted somewhere that made it look reeeeeeeally square. Like, oh, say a car tire.Actually that newton doesn't look too bad.
Pics 1 and 3 the wheel was out of the bike and I was holding around the other way in my hand.On backwards yo
how to mess with tehPics 1 and 3 the wheel was out of the bike and I was holding around the other way in my hand.
I would prefer if Goodyear did not in fact make tires and simply slapped their logo on proven CST/Maxxis compounds and knob layouts.
Their logo is horrendous. Whhhyyyyy???
That is the George Constanza model. It rolls fast because it has a little on the sides, but it is bald.do they make any that aren't already worn down?
Well I decided to go out on a limb and got some 29x2.6 Vee Flow Snaps. They're apparently being marketed as Ebike tires since it has Ebike printed on them. It also has something called Synthesis which I think is some external sidewall reinforcement.
The casing seems to be close to a true 2.5" in width and the lugs measure true to size. Casing is a little lighter than a double down base on feel.
Does the casing suck? I'm afraid that I'm not going to be able to make a determination on that. Two early spring New England trail rides in and the side knobs are showing some concerning wear signs after probably only 16 miles max over the weekend. I'm concerned I'm not going to hit even 40 miles on trails before needing to check in on warranty. If I do, I can't imagine how they would last even a day at a pike park or riding DH trails......
i run them on ex471s in double down casing...seems fine to me but i'm a fucking hack and wouldn't know the differenceHas anyone run Maxxis WT 2.5s on a 25mm rim? Is the tire over round and harder to reach the side knobs or is it fine?
