Looking at a new ride for the coming season has 2 wheelbase choices 45.75 or 47.25.
Now my question is how much difference can 1.5” make? I tend ride places like Southridge, Bootleg, Switzerland (SMT) and places similar to Snow Summit (not a lot of tight switchbacks, more flowy), so what would be your recommendations?

Also, what are the pros & cons of longer vs. shorter wb?

I did the whole wheelbase search, but that brought up a bunch of cr@p as well as some good info, but I need more feedback. Thanks.

Edit - FWIW, not sure if it matters I'm 6'4".

Everything else geometrywise being equal, a longer wheelbase makes it more stable in a straight line. The faster you go, the longer you want it.
You're tall, I say def go with the longer.
