I'm looking for a new rear hub. I am getting a Profile in front, and actually wanted a 9 speed profile in the back, until I realized profile only made 8 speed.

Which 9 speed rear hub would you suggest?

It's gotta be the best of the best..

FYI 8 and 9 speed hubs use the same cassette spacing/width, unless it's old-school "compact 8speed", which I don't think any hub makers use anymore. So the Profile is probably still ok if you want the matched set.

As for the best of the best, Chris King ISO w/ heavy duty tandem axle, fun bolts and stainless steel driveshell.

Yes, I thought that too, but I just couldn't understand why they wouldn't just write 9 speed, so you would know that it was 9 and 8 speed.

Thanx.

montreal bitch
cuz they aint mtb folk

abd ya the best of the best is CK, er not calvin klien, but Chris King. Hadleys are good, but not quite as good, and Mavic can fit in the middle but you need to do the whole wheel a la Mavic.

Don't underestemate Profile. They are the top hub and crank builder in BMX in my opinion. I'll go with those.

PS: Chris King make headsets that Lance Armstrong uses so HAHA!

Though I exclusivly use CK headsets.
