Anyone ever stay at the UBC Whistler lodge? How far is it from the slopes? Anything I need to know if I'm planning on staying there for 4 nights? Should I fork for the private room or is the common dorms pretty chill/safe?

Oh and what's the cheapest way to get from the airport to Whistler? And is buying cheap lift tickets off ebay the way to go?

We used the Whistler Express to get from the airport to Whistler. I seem to remember the options being pretty limited. As far as lift tickets, we just got them from the window, sometimes there are people in the area who have extras and will sell them cheaper so it doesn't hurt to loiter a few minutes before you get in line. I didn't stay at the UBC but if it's in the village you're at most 15 minutes walk from the lift.
