My kenda 2.5 dont fit...I have to let most of the air out and stuff it in. If its a short distance I can get away with letting the tires just sit on top though and hope it doesnt fall.
The front wheel with a Maxxis 2.7 mobster had to be pushed in but it was very solid The back wheel didn't fit in the rear tire hoop....wheel base was to long lol! I used a shoe string to tie it down to the rack.
I usually commute with my hardtail.....and I ALWAYS sit in the front of the bus in site of my bike.
The wheelbase might be a little too long for the rack - I ran into that problem last night with my shocker. My solution was to get the front wheel in nice and secure and then stick my little ulock around the back tire/bike rack. That keeps the back from bouncing out and makes it a little less likely someone will grab your bike and run off. If you are quick it only adds about 10 seconds to the loading process.
