Right this may sound very stupid and very obvious , but i was sold a frame with a leaking shock , a dark cycles scarab.
The shock on it is 8.75" x 2.75 , and i have been offered a new 9" x 2.75 Fox vanilla RC for £55.00 , now will this fit and if it does will it mess the geo up completley.
I was thinking about offset bushings, and this will take 2mm of each end max as anymore the shock will touch the frame.

It'll make your BB higher, your headtube steeper, and your suspension less progressive. Maybe not much so, with the corrective spacers, but I'd just look for the right shock.
