The 2010 World Cup Finals are underway, who's your money on? Gee, Greg and Blenki lead the standings for the men, while it's an all French medal count at the moment for the women. Jonnier leads, then Ragot and finally Pugin.
---

The track seems to have a good mix of tech and speed, rocks and trees, tight and open. Welcome back to the USA, World Cup!

Nice preview of the 4x track

There is one big *ucking double at the end, but the set up with the smaller double seems good and the jump well made.

All and all, I think this track really is nice and should provide some good racing.

That course looks really good. I love the rough/rocky elements.

Gwin looked super fast and focused today, really impressive! Minnaar definitely hurt is arm elbow and went to the hospital, not sure how bad/what the injury is. Steve Smith was also looking really fast as well as Beaumont and Danny Hart. The track is drying out pretty quickly so I think a lot of the top guns were holding back and just scoping lines. Hill did one run that I saw and was just cruising.

Hopefully Greg is okay but either way I think the momentum has to be with Gee. He looked otherworldly fast during Crankworx.

Be fitting to see Gwin take it on home soil. Bet the guy is super focused.

From the slideshow on VitalMTB: What the hell is that piece of hardware in Sam Hill's face? Has he always had that?

I'm not there so I am kinda talking out of my ass, but it looks like that rock drop/kicker points you right at a tree and needs to be hit slow...kind of odd set in that spot. I wonder if that is where GM hit.?

Litter Vital said it happened on the drop at the bottom of the track.

Jesus, Freecaster is already crapping out when I try to watch the course walk. This does not bode well for the race broadcast. :-/

When does the race start Sunday. Trying to figure out if I can do a couple of hours at Plattekill before heading to Windham Sunday.

Over your shoulder whispering
wow...I'm so confused by what Gracia is doing this year on the circuit? What's the purpose of the Brigade? Can't believe he can't still stomp a mud hole in the World Cup. Even looked like he might be wearing flats?

I've been wondering this as well. The Windham course does have some air time, though, so maybe he can get his sponsors on camera with a fancy jump or two.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't watch the course walk. Is anybody streaming quali or do we only get live timing?
