our original trailhead at the end of the culdesac is off limits due to the gas well that's being drilled right smack dab at our trailhead.
the foreman says it's too dangerous to be in that area while they're working.(7 days a week until it's complete)
so the starting point can only be as high as the first road crossing.
that's not a whole lot of trail to give up for a short time.
but that's the best, most in your face way to start the day.
i figure by mid sept. they should be finished and it'll be back to normal.
and begining tommorrow.
whenever i'm not there riding, the barricade at the first jump will be installed, screwed down and lag bolted.
whoever rode last weekend left it open all week.
we can't afford to keep leaving it open, if ya'll want to keep those jumps ridable.
all it takes is just one motorcycle to get down in there and screw up years of work in just one twist of the throttle.
