Good point on the marriage part I'd like to see how that relates to age married. But anytime you claim to have values it just opens the door for hypocracy.

And the redest of the red is in the flat west if you look at the linear (shades of purple) maps. But that could be due to the large numbers of carpet bagging northerners. I myself am one.

As much as I disagree with this rant, there is a difference between the "culture" where I grew up in Kansas City, and the "culture" down here in Little Rock.

As much as I disagree with same sex marriage, I think the Christian community would make a much larger impact if they would live in a way to influence culture rather than react to it - i.e. not have a divorce rate higher than the non-Christian population.

This reminds me of a story.

This girl I used to date, this really rich girl, she and her uncle (who was a state. representative for TN) would go to florida once or twice a year to different restuarants just to find out which had the best Key Lime Pie. She said that once they found the restuarant with the best pie, he would buy her the restuarant, no questions asked, and let her do as she wished with it. I havent talked with her in a while, she turned into a hippy when she went off to college, but doesnt that just make you hate rich people? :mumble:

And all that crap about Asault weps etc. It was Jefferson who basically stated that the guns in the hands of the populace are meant to remind the government that they are there to work for us.

And the Monuments are pretty much right on the mason-dixon line too, (even Maryland was really only northern in the Civ war because they declared martial law right away) for that matter. So DC could actually be argued to be a Southern City.

I'm a pretty well educated Southern Democrat and god knows we need all the votes we can get but that numb nut needs to get kicked right the F*** out of the party for being a total **s hole. I don't want people like that taking my side.

found one for you

Orange Pie Recipe 1

6 tablespoons orange juice
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons grated orange rind
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups water, boiling
pinch of salt


Line pie plate with pie crust, and bake for 10 minutes, until the pie crust is a light brown. Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar and salt together. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and mix well until smooth. Add slowly the eggs lightly beaten and the boiling water. Put on fire and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 3 to 4 minutes). Add orange juice and orange rind. Mix well. Pour in pie crust and put in slow oven for about 5 minutes, just long enough to have the mixture adhere to the crust.

If you want to do that, you need to come out with me today out to Tuskeegee and ride. Deer season opened sometime ago and the place is flooded with rednecks. Only downside is that they have guns. But the upside is that when you go screaming down the trail I plan to ride, all the dumbarses scream at you to stop messing up the area, their trying to hunt.
