My first question is, has anybody had a chance to ride the new 08 We The People Trust? It is full chromoly with all sealed parts and the geo seams to be a good setup. So any thoughts would be nice.

My next question is as to whether or not the Salt components will last that long. I dont want to buy the bike and just have to switch out key components such as the cranks, thus increasing what I will basically initially be spending on the bike. I realize that parts wear out, but I still dont want to buy a relatively expensive bike just to have to replace parts nearly immediatly.

Thanks for any and all input recieved.:clapping:

I have had a couple of WTP frames and both were of good quality (nice welding, good paint job, straight and strong). I would say the Salt parts are as good as any parts found on a complete in that price range. They are probably all made in the same Taiwanese factories with different labels for each company.

Anybody ride a Premium 3 Ring? it is basically the same bike, but if it would be a more trustable company, i would go with them.

I did some more research, looked on other BMX forums, even the WTP forum, and have discovered just about nothing. It seems as if some people say the salt components hold up well, but the Premium 3ring has more aftermarket parts that will in the end hold up better.
