Can anyone think of or does anyone know of a way to turn my 04 DJ1 into just a 20mm axle fork? As of late the QR 20 system has been more of a pain then its worth, and does not install a great sense of confidence in it staying on for a hard landing.

Or do I just need to beg the wife for the money for a new fork?

If that's the case, any reccomendations for a good DJ fork?

Pike or Sherman Jumper if you want 20mm, or a lowered Z1 or 66.

i've been riding and looked down to see the little silver qr tab just swinging there in the wind. not cool. but then again, the dropout seems to hold the axle in there pretty good by itself.

Do a search, there are replacement options for the flaps.

Also, get the bolt-on axle instead of the QR axle.

As long you have an 04 fork, Marz PN 710026/c will take care of you...
