So now that the rotors have been out awhile, are the XT ice rotors any better than regular rotors? What about the new freeza? Im ordering XT brakes and will need rotors too.
Allright stop, collaborate and listen
Get Ice XT's are you gonna be missing
Something grabs your rotor tightly
Lets you flow like a harpoon daily and nightly
Will you always stop? Yo I don't know
But Ice XT's been down with me for 2 years Yo.
And to the extreme I rock a trail like vandal
Light up a gap and wax a stump like a candle
Not to divert one's thoughts from high top fades and parachute pants or anything, but I've used a fairly good number of the ice tech rotors without the new razor fins. They still heat up just like old one pieces from what I can tell. And they seem to come from the factory kind of warped, maybe from pinning them to the interior mount. The ones I've gotten have been a little unstraight.
The pins are staying tight though. Which is more than I can say for the centerlock versions when they came out.

i have 3 rides on my icetech 203/180mm rotors that i just installed with ZEE brakes , very impressed so far we road some steep trails today and my buddies AVIDS where squealing like mad and my brakes where nice and quiet and never lacking stopping power .
In that case, you'll notice more of a difference if you use 203 front and rear with normal rotors. Or you could go full retard and put on 203 ICE-TECH front and rear!
