Going to get back into bikes and looking for a nice all mountain, the Yeti 575 seems like a great bike. Your thoughts?

or Transition Tr 250...a buddy says it's a great bike for the money.
Those bikes are totally different animals. The Yeti 575 is a great all around trail bike; I had a first gen model for many years and it was great and the new ones are even better. It climbs well, descends well, and can handle light DH and freeride. The Transition TR250 is a freeride/downhill bike and not really suited to trail riding as it is very slack and low.
I am really enjoying my 25th.
yeah I am more of a freeride downhill guy...to old to pedal too much! lol
so with it being in limited numbers, are there some in dealerships?
Maybe if you are in the extra tall or extra small side of things.
The difference between the 25th and 2011 575 frames is just the paint.
yeah i just love the color and would like to have one of the 250 made.

I have found one in a local shop here...the only one is an XL. Now I am almost 6' 2" and probably not tall enough for the XL...during the test ride the stand over height was tight although the cockpit length was nice. During the ride the bike felt nimble and very smooth. Now the decision to spend the cash must be made, just not sure.
