Those bikes are totally different animals. The Yeti 575 is a great all around trail bike; I had a first gen model for many years and it was great and the new ones are even better. It climbs well, descends well, and can handle light DH and freeride. The Transition TR250 is a freeride/downhill bike and not really suited to trail riding as it is very slack and low.

You'll be hard pressed to find something that isn't an XS. I wasn't able to get an XL and I had a very early order from a high volume shop and a 10 year racing relationship with Yeti.

I have found one in a local shop here...the only one is an XL. Now I am almost 6' 2" and probably not tall enough for the XL...during the test ride the stand over height was tight although the cockpit length was nice. During the ride the bike felt nimble and very smooth. Now the decision to spend the cash must be made, just not sure.
