"And Justice" was the beginning of the end for Metallica for me. Then they cut their hair, then they did Bob Seger(?) cover tunes. What's next? A Christmas album?

a bud let me burn a copy of the disc. i keep coming back to "broken, beat & scarred" and "cyanide" as the money tracks for me. as ballads go, "the day that never comes" ain't too bad. i like the "justice" feel of some of the riffage on "end of the line" and the start of "broken, beat & scarred."
I've heard alot of it on Sirius, Jason Ellis Show. Its allright but not the original grit and hammer.
agreed, the original grit and hammer is gone. old-man hefield just can't belt it like he once did. good thing his riff-hand still works.
