Don't say I didn't warn you. :p
I know. We've had amazing luck with this vehicle so far. I wouldn't hesitate to get another.

We take it to the local Subaru experts and they go over it with a fine tooth comb. The little extra cost in regular thorough maintenance has probably saved us a bunch in the long run.

But yeah, waiting for the major repair shoe to drop.

I've got a 1977, 1990, and 1994, all GM's! And looking at those year cars I can say it went from...
SUPER WELL BUILT and DEPENDABLE! to
WELL BUILT and DEPENDABLE!
to looking at it on the driveway saying, "WELL, it got BUILT, and I hope it's DEPENDABLE today."

Next car, I'm going JAP! Screw the economy and the overpaid American Auto Workers Union. Japs build a car, quality workmanship and materials used, all on $15/hr labor. Americans build a car and... ummm, hmmm, ummm let's see how do I put this without being unamerican... well, you do the math.

Dark green 2000 Mazda MPV mini-van. As long as it runs strong, even with it's soon-to-be 200k miles on it, I don't plan on getting rid of it. It does what I want to do (sit, good boy), and has loads of memories in it. Granted, it ticks the wife off that I don't want to get rid of it, and that's her problem...............

(Sure is fun with her at the drive-in's, though)

NORCAL is the hizzle
2000 Cherokee Classic with about 110,000 miles. Just had the cracked head replaced instead of dumping it. Plan to keep it pretty much forever, I don't see needing anything else.
