RC4 or Double Barrel for an Orange 224?

Was thinking of upgrading my rear shock. Which one do you guys think? RC4 or Double Barrel?

Rc4 for sure. Double barell may be better damping wise but the 224 is degressive if I remember right. A progressive shock like the rc4 should help that a lot.

Yeah, I had heard the db worked the best but, that was before the rc4 so, now it's hard to say.

Right now I have a dx 5.0 that was pushed. It did feel a bit better but, not what I thought it would be. I don't like the idea of my shock being filled with nitrogen because I can't adjust it unless I empty it and fill it back up with air.

Well then it comes down to preferences. In this case you have to choose whether you want the bike to ramp a bit more and feel more "lively", or whether you want superior damping and adjustability.

That should help make your decision easier.
