So what I like to do on is get into the middle lane and set the cruise to exactly the speed limit. I don't like the right lane because I'm constantly having to slow down or move over for people merging on and off the highway (if there are only two lanes I use the right).
waaaaaait a sec. You just might be part of the problem. Keep right except to pass? I love that I more than occasionally have to go into the far right lane to pass somebody because the left two lanes are people going 65 and 67. If you're cruising, you're probably on the pike, and there aren't that many exits. Slowing down from 65 to 60 every 15 miles is not that horrible. When I had my POS blazer, which had a top speed of 72, I'd set the cruise at 65 and chill in the right lane. I had the exact same experience as you, where nobody bothered me, but I was in the right lane.

I like to set my cruise at 72 and just go for it, usually in the middle lane and then the left lane to pass, but in eastern MA people only do 85 or 60, so I generally end up going faster than I want simply so I don't have to weave through traffic doing 70. Once I get past 84, it's like the gates of heaven open up and I can suddenly do my 72, then move over to pass, then get back in the right lane. It's magical.

I hate it when people let other drivers come up the left lane, skip the line for an offramp, and get let in.

If you didn't make it, the next exit is up the road, fvcknuts.

Also, don't hit the brakes hard and stay on them right before you go over railroad tracks. All you're doing is making your suspension less effective.

That's why I put some Brake Therapy floaters on the brakes of my Jeep.

Speaking of which, and not to derail (OMFG GET IT? CAUSE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT TRAIN TRACKS! HA!)......is that company still in bid-ness?

Blocking someone who wants to go faster than you is lame. Matching the speed of the cars next to you is particularly lame. I don't care if you're jealous of their car, or if you think they're not going to get where they're going any faster than you. Get the hell out of the way.

And spare me the righteousness about how you are making the roads safer. Right or wrong, blocking almost always results in more dangerous passing and erratic driving (not to mention more road rage).

That's exactly kind of petty injustice that I wrote about a few weeks ago. That blog post got "syndicated", if you will, by a bigger political blog this week: http://politicish.xanga.com/745679967/injustice-on-my-own-scale/ .

Floaters won't affect the weight transfer even if they kept the suspension level. Physics. Can't beat it.

I personally accelerate a bit to unweight the front end before speed bumps and train tracks alike. :D

are you the guy who was masturbating in the Miata?
They call it a "wheel" over in dear Brittania? If it's just a personal expression I'd suggest seeing a urologist. Pro tip: it shouldn't look like a pretzel. :D

 Yikes. Dude should have split the lane as soon as it slowed.
Yea, he's obviously not at fault for that, but there are a few things he could have done to avoid getting creamed. I am always paranoid about people behind me on the bike.

Wednesday morning driving to Logan. Red Jeep in front of me weaving, slamming on brakes for no reason. I'm staying way back but then I move up for a look. It is a female driver, who is using both the rear view mirror and the mirror on her visor to apply eye makeup with one hand while using the other hand to talk on her cell phone. I assume she drove with her knee, but not well. I think everyone should be able get a tag, like a deer tag, that allows you to drag people from their cars and beat them for the general good. The tags could sell for $10,000 each and get our local governments out of the red! Beat that plan Trump...

As much as I sometimes enjoy driving, I can't wait until these mfers drive themselves.
