it appears to say "9.9" at the headtube junction, which, if correct, would be the carbon version.

I was just riding along and this wall jumped out of nowhere!

in the begining of the video (0:30) you can see on the left side of the course you can see a red mattress on the left side.
he it this rock wall on the right side of the matress at high speed so all forces on the front of the frame.

Makes me wonder how much more force is put on the head head tube with dual crown fork vs a single
Crown. The pinkbike vid of Santa Cruz testing there carbon fiber bikes, there was a test like this impact. There impact testing was with a single crown style fork. Or is trek and Santa Cruz carbon Frames that different?
That's why I said it. I worked in a shop for 5 years, all warranty stories start that way. I even have a pair of riding socks from interbike that say Just Riding Along.
Hey now Matt. I break most anything and I am always jus riding along. Only thing I can ever think that snapped on it's own was a pedal axle on an XC ride going uphill.
This frame would have easily survived the crash if they'd only put more padding on it. Moto tape saves.

If I'd raced that I'd have walked back up the mountain and smacked that guy inside the tape from ~30s onwards.
