When I was in Cancun and saw something with a fin swimming in the wave off shore and it was fast and almost as big as me, I was stunned.
When in the glass bottom boat and a barracuda cruised up beside us and looked at my 11 month old like she was bait, I realized I would not be swimming in the waters there.

Barracudas are about 90% blind. Don't know if that makes you feel better or worse. I have had a few 'episodes' of a deep sea barracuda (5'+) pivoting towards me with a curious eye.
