>>>Friday gmt<<<

Today's setting up to be rainy and windy. Not sure what kind of mischief I'll manage to get into. We still have snow hanging around in patches, but not a lot of it. I'm looking forward to the day that there is none, in a week, maybe. At some point I need to start planning for my trip to Prescott on the 30th.

Yay Friday. And absolutely nothing planned for this weekend, hmm.

I need to do something about the pine tree overlooking my drive way. These last few days it has been shitting an obscene amount of needles all over my car. :(

Morning. More rain here today. We still have plenty of snow so hopefully that will help make it disappear. Probably packing for FL today (chaperoning our senior trip to Orlando) and baking with Alex....I see some banana bread in our future.

Woah, that's it, I can no longer work under these circumstances. Just opened my laptop after doing some troubleshooting and all of my icons have been rearranged and pushed to the right hand side of the screen. The horror! Its going to take all day to recover from this.

Bought something on Ebay. Seller boxed up a delicate 30 lb part in an oversized unpadded box. Was pretty much destroyed when it showed up. Knuckle dragging moron said he would refund my money by suing the postal service. Ebay stepped in, saw his refund comment and gave me my money back. A little surprised.

Holy fucking shitballs. Just sat through a meeting discussing whether or not parts were okay. I asked the basic question of why they were dimensioned the way they are. After all, someone chose that number for a reason. Nobody knows. It's not documented anywhere and nobody knows why. I'm just dumbfounded at the moment.

Happy Friday all. I'm home from work today with a cold that is kicking my ass, but hey, now I have some time to post! Here's my new bike. I've had it for over a month, but we've been too buried in snow for me to ride it on the trails. Should be able to get out Sunday, though.

Morning Monkeys.

The rain should be here this afternoon to make for a mud filled Saturday ride on the moto with the little monkey. Going out to my buddies house to tear up his 80+ acres of wooded hills. We are going to lay out a trail system in the back section that has the best elevation change. With the wind and rain, it should make for a good day in the woods. I know Mad Dog is stoked to ride the new whip.

High winds blew a tree onto the utility lines in front of my house. Called the cable company as our power is underground. They came out and said it was power. Called the power company, they said they had already been out there and it was either cable or phone. Called the phone dudes. Will see where this goes. I should just take the lines down and see who loses service.

Howdy all. I resubmitted a paper. It was not exciting (the paper or the submission).

I worked for a company not too long ago that used folders in a filing cabinet. Everything was printed.
We do that too. To process a change order you have to print out a copy of the document, walk around to have people sign it, then someone scans it in and drops it in the network folders. It's like a blast from the past.

Can you elaborate? I work for a multi-billion dollar company and this is still how some of the processes work haha.
