Came down with some sort of head cold Sunday night. Stayed home from work yesterday but back to work today. Wish I was still laying on my couch...

'Morning! Wife and I took yesterday off from work and rode 65 miles. It was windy as hell and that hurt. Then I had a three mile brick run afterwards. Then this morning I was up early for a masters swim workout, which included a 1500 yard test. 20 mile road ride planned after work today too. Yay exercise!

Mornin!

Not too much to report here, just working on projects around the house trying to avoid finishing up the sprinkler system rebuild. Don't make me do it!

Moar Rainz. Movers showed up with a truck way too big. They are pondering the option of carrying a house full of shit up a muddy hill or calling for a smaller truck.

Rode with a bunch of coworkers yesterday after work, was a lot of fun. Found myself at the front of the pack for most of the ride, which was a relief and a surprise. First ride of the year on the hardtail, glad I brought it. I think we did about 12 miles with I'd guess ~3,000ft of climbing in a little under an hour and a half. I think this will become a 1-2 ride a week routine occurrence, which I need.

Got a new phone last night for $.01. Also good as my old one was on its final legs.

Charity Jeep ride this weekend along the coast of Maine with the girl and her parents. Should be fun (weather permitting), looking forward to the weekend.

Hoping to dodge thunderstorms and follow up yesterdays ride with another today.

Pondering the changes that will ensue if the second interview I've got next week results in an offer.

I have the bike in the work vehicle ready for some post-work bike fun.

Work is currently in one of those weird "calm before the storm" periods. Must make the most of it... My bike is running very nicely, I must say. Except of course the ever-so-slightly out of alignment derailleur hanger. This has not bothered me on my lazy-ass shuttle rides I've been doing lately, but I suspect it is going to piss my off once I start to wilt on the way up the climb.

Howdy all. Another week of pancreas cancer cases to review this morning. My pro tip is unchanged.

In other news IBM may be working with my institution on some sort of Watson project. I want in.

It's only Tuesday?? Bail the fuck out!!

Stupid never ending Warriors game prevented me from doing any significant bike work last night. Got a pretty bad creak somewhere in my BB, crank set, pedal area.

Wound up not going up to Maine last weekend as it was raining all weekend. Heading up this weekend though, likely Friday afternoon. Planning to hit it on the way up. There's a few I want to try to check out based on you and @RoboDonkey713 's recommendations.
If you're heading up 95, Earth Eagle in Portsmouth is a great spot to check out as well. Lots of unique, eclectic stuff, not too far from Tributary either.

I could get paid to work less! I just need to make sure I have a revenue stream from it or similar things...
In the mid 1980s my dad worked on a project called spellbound for identifying misspelled words for data processors. While the actual program was a flop, parts of it were licensed to oracle and IBM. The programmers that worked on development were not paid; each owned a bit of forward revenue that paid pretty well until microsoft began to dominate the market in the mid 90s.

Just got of the phone with the wife, and she's had quite the strange day. Court summons, and a job offer. And there is a common denominator.
I'm going with someone above her in the food chain is being taken to court, she is being summoned to testify, and they have preemptively been let go and she has been offered the position?

I've now spent several hours trying to get access to corporate software. I've contacted multiple departments and helplines. All I do is type one more password into one more screen. And then another password and screen. And then another password and screen. Then my old passwords don't work and I need to reset them. This is unreal.
