Why bother posting here Brian ? Got nothing better to do ? Are you not getting enough attention at home ? Or are you tired of being called stupid in person and need some virtual negative reinforcement form the Liberals you secretly desire to be more like ?
It's fun reading all your perpetual crying especially since Trump got reelected/back in office. Nope, plenty of attention at home, thanks for asking though. Being called stupid? Been called much worse in life than stupid, but coming from a bunch of sheep, I don't put much into it. Anyways, I could never be a liberal even if I wanted to, you guys took all the Vagisil.

This is only the beginning. He is going to piss off every legit military person before he's done. Not a smart move as Commander and Chief.

Is there a reason why you don't respond to posts where others try to engage with you in a civil manner?

Ah, use of misogynistic language is usually a pretty good indicator that someone's home life isn't as rosy as they would like us to believe. What is it Brian, is she finally fed up with you and threatening divorce ? Did you come home one day to find her in bed with the landscaper ? Is that why you are the way you are because an illegal immigrant is taking your job ?

For fuck sake why can't Americans have nuanced discussions about complex issues? Both fucking sides are guilty.

"TARIFFS GOOD!"

"TARIFFS BAD!"

Whoever shouts it loudest wins!

Tariffs are not inherently bad. When used as a tool to "level the playing field" for specific US industries, they're very useful. To apply them to entire countries and continents makes no strategic sense. I am pretty sure that the policy-wonks on both sides are well aware that it is a complex issue that requires thoughtful strategy. The problem is that neither our leaders nor the talking-heads nor the voting public are willing and able to make the effort to understand the subtleties. So, in the end the discussion is distilled to "TARIFFS GOOD" vs. "TARIFFS BAD," because that is the only way American idiots can understand it.
For sure you can't fit complex policy issues on a bumper sticker or a 10 second FB reel, therefore it's much too complex for the average voter to understand. The problem, as I see it, lies in where the actual policy is being produced by/for a guy who doesn't even know what "nuanced" means. That word doesn't exist in a world view incapable of imagining that life isn't zero sum. If your politics are binary, if you haven't gotten exactly everything you wanted, in exactly the manner you wanted it, you've "lost". 1 or 0. Won or lost. Vanilla or chocolate. Male or female. Give or take. No room for interpretation or minutiae. And that's what we are up against. Are both sides guilty of this? To some degree, absolutely. There is no better example of this on the left than syadasti. The purity politics of the left are absolutely it's biggest weakness. But I think it's disingenuous to say that this is equally a "both sides" issue. The left will die a thousand paper cuts death splitting issues into finer and finer slices, or it will die at the hands of a mob from the right, incapable of understanding anything other than "ORANGE MAN HATE LIBTARDS!"

I mean hell, Brian probably thinks "minutiae" is why his doctor gave him all that penicillin back in 89 after "sitting on the toilet" at the Tijuana donkey show. You can't have a policy discussion with someone like that.

That’s funny! My life is great and marriage is strong. She too is a republican, and we share the same views & morals. She likes masculine men and that’s why we’ve been together for over 31 years. She actually laughs at whining liberals like yourself, also knows the definition of what a woman is, unlike you. No illegal took my job, no landscaper is sleeping with my wife, but nice try!

God damn @Brian HCM#1 your the main MAGA supporter in here.

At what point do you say, this is fucked up, I can't believe I thought this guy had my best interests at heart.
Trump said exactly what he was going to do if elected. It should be no shock that he’s actually following through with it so far his first week in office. He won the election fair and square, electoral & popular and this is what me and the other 77+ million people voted for. So for me it’s not fucked up, it’s great!

I try to but when I do, I’m bashed for not drinking the Koolaid and falling in line. I have my beliefs & opinions and some have a rough time that I think that way. It doesn’t bother me in the least.

I respectfully disagree.

I think the voting public on both sides are falling for distractions and manipulations - different manifestations to be sure, but the
end result. I think they are (very nearly) equally guilty of this. The amount of GOP / MAGA hate directed at non-politicians and non-oligarchs is pretty staggering.

It has been said again and again, but the modus operandi here is to keep the voting public, common man, working class, etc. at war with each other while the oligarchs consolidate power and wealth.

“MAGAs are subhuman idiots incapable of critical thought!”

“Own the Libtards.”

Same thing.

To be clear I am guilty of the former. It’s hard not to be, but I am trying to take a step back and be aware of this tendency to dehumanize.

The bishop prayed for mercy and Trump demanded an apology. LOL what a fucking moron
There is a time & place for everything and that was neither. After the service, she should have pulled Trump aside and spoke with him one on one, let him know how she was feeling and voiced her concerns. You do it in a public setting she wasn't going to get the reaction/response she was looking for and it only fueled anger. Trump has no issues with the gay community what so ever. It's more with the rush to transition young children instead of them going through years of therapy before making life changing permeant decisions. An 11 year old child is too young to process this because most only see life as today and not tomorrow. Men identifying as women should not be allowed to compete in woman's sports as well as a fully intact male changing in a woman's locker room, it's just not right. Have a transgendered division in sports? Absolutely 100%! As well as a trans only locker room, see problem solved. 10 years ago there were just 2 genders, since Covid the left came up with 1000's of them. A man transitioning to a woman will always be a man & a woman transitioning to a man will always be a woman. Until the day when a biological woman can produce sperm and a biological man can produce eggs, get pregnant and have a child from hips not designed to give birth they will always be the gender that they were born with. I have no problem with the LBGT community at all, but no one should be forced to accept their decisions they way they want us to see them. It's just like asking you to accept every MAGA supporter. You're not and that's fine, everyone is entitled to their own views and no one should be expected or guilted into changing that view.

I like how you had to write a short book before you felt you responded satisfactorily (sp?)

Truth is, her prayer was on point, timely, and full of purpose.

The fact that Trump spun it with negativity says everything we need to know about the guy.

She pleaded for mercy for those less fortunate. Isn’t that, like, a christian thing to do?

Maybe so, but again there is a time & place. Interesting that some here are anti Christianity/Church and openly criticize religion until a gay Bishop says something then for some miraculous reason they embrace what she's saying. At the end of the day she still looks up and prays to the sky God, correct? But but but that's different! Hypocrisy maybe?

Should we even act surprised that big strong very secure manly man like Trump and his supporters would be threatened by the universal concepts of mercy and kindness? It's anathema to the entire fascist ideology.

Damn you got me! Got to get up pretty darn early to fool an educated liberal like yourself. LOL!
Precisely.

Just may start my own PAWN thread, working title (these things can & do change mind you) will be --

PEOPLE YOU WITNESSED YOUR DAD REPEATEDLY PUNCH IN THE FACE & ARE NOW SOMEHOW A US PRESIDENT -- NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE BUT, THRICE

The one thing keeping this from 'going live' is there's 5 1/4 years from 1st knuckle sandwich to the 2nd & 3rd rounds. Unexplainable gaps in a storyline, ya' know what I mean? No confidence, it's a waiting game.

Anywayz - you have fun w/ yourself and your opinions.
