    Integrated Bmper/Bike Rack

http://www.autoblog.com/2006/10/04/have-bike-will-travel-the-opel-antaras-hideaway-bike-rack/ Check out the Opel/Vauxhall integrated bike rack. I'm not sure I would call this the most robust solution, but it's a real option, not a showcar feature. It is also on a platform used by GM - it's...

    intense 5.5

I have one medium-duty season on a 5.5 with no bearing problems. Once one of the upper pivot bolts started to unthread itself. The bolt has not moved since it was tightened (along with all the others). I love everything about my 5.5 - fast, efficient, and well composed through some pretty...

Has anyone owned or managed a bike shop?

Ouch - so many unsaticfying experiences. I am considering getting involved in a well established shop. It is in a college town (Pop. 125k), very near campus, and the city has a pretty strong cycling community. I have been a bike fanatic for nearly twenty years and know the industry pretty...

    Pike Air?

After years of coil/oil forks I made the move to a Pike Air. 9 months going and I haven't had any problems - it's been a great fork. It's smooth, easy to tune (even on a per ride bases), plenty strong and light all at a fair price. I've got mine on front of a 5.5 w/ Fow RP3 and the balance...

What kind of bike to get?

I'm a life long mountain biker who just went through the purchasing process of a road bike. Unlike mountain bikes, sizing a road bike is all about top tube length. Granted seat tube and top tube sizes go hand in hand, just don't get too caught up on seat tubes. Make sure the reach is comfortable...
