Not your cheapest option, but I have run a (BR)Ohlins TTX22 coil on my Gnarvana and now on my Smash V2. It has been fantastic for both applications in its off the shelf form (ie no special tune).
This is true re: incentives for preventative care. I think it would be awesome if both patients and people working in the medical system were incentivised to get and/or stay healthy as long as possible. Eventually the shit hits the fan for us all and believe me, you want smart, motivated, happy...
I've funded my cycling habit via eye theft for years now. Highly recommended if you can stomach all the school and the educational debt.
Seriously though, there are many relatively common eye things (glaucoma, retinal tear and detachment, ocular tumors, increased intracranial pressure...
Just saw it for sale at PB. It was listed as a complete but the owner was fine selling the frame only. I'd been looking around for one...they are around but not a lot of the colored ones. Seems like there are more greens than the blue/red/gray that was also on the ridegg site.
Figured I'd post this here for any still riding their GGs. Lance Canfield just posted on the GG FB page that they were taking requests for replacement part and that they'd be willing to manufacture some for us. Pretty cool move. I used this as justification to acquire a clean, green final...
I broke my rear axle (a mere 205 pounds with gear). Granted I'd been riding the wheels for 3+ years and several thousand decently rough miles. The replacement was pretty different so maybe/hopefully they've made changes to address the issue?
No personal connection, but I had joined the waiting list and it's cool to see Neko's frames going up for sale. I've attached the email here. Short version is 3995 USD for a frame. Aluminum front triangle, carbon rear end. 100 frames in the first run.
Fair point, but there are other benefits including durability and ride quality which I would argue are superior for the Rev'd frames. Surely there is room for improvement as with any first product using new methods, as such I'd really like to see this technology move forward in the bike world.
Yeah, we all missed it this year due to burning our freedoms on our Canuckian safari. I'd be down to go back although my inlaws live about 1.5 hrs from MSA so I may target that next...
I am hoping someone will acquire the GG remnants and fire it back up again. Keep it smaller and be OK with that.
For those with frames I successfully ordered and received some back up hardware items this week.
I'm aware of how VC investment works. In my experience, many start ups fail because they didn't have the product or team to succeed. I've seen good products and teams shit the bed due to mismanagement from VCs just as often.
Obviously an evil VC firm didn't come and execute a hostile...
I could definitely see something like this. I've seen this happen in biotech as well. VCs are frequently not good at aligning their expectations for profit and timeframe with the realities of a company they are investing in. They believe that with their ingenious management, they can beat the...
Absolutely! We were riding in ridiculous dust (even the patrol was thinking of closing some things) and DH1, Insanity, Smitty's and Gnarboom were so fun. We were literally giggling maniacally as we rode cause we couldn't stop and no one could see shit in front of them. It's the best when you...
