Try Julien Donkey Boy next.....see if you can follow that dribble
I really think harmonie Korien(SP?) is a tad overrated....like david lynch, to hell with thier visions for film, they both need baths.
Hey Ton,
Been bouncing around up north, going back and forth between philly and NY. Just moved in with the GF to a place with plenty of studio space for us. Going to school up here and working two jobs....besides that, nothing much.
What's been up wit chu?
If you would like something to take riding with you, I think serious concideration of Olympus in in order. Check this thing out http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1225
We keep our demo model on the front case in a cup of water and at PMA the reps were kicking them...
Line cook....i was really into it for a while
It allowed me to express my inner asshole while still doing a good job. I was a the closest thing to a sous chef at a up and coming place in west philly doing asian fusion...it was to say the least interesting.
We had an awesome stereo system...
I read an article in a month or two ago about it. Some guy at some university (my documentation is great isnt it) says that after a study he concluded that yawning expresses empathy between mamals, including us. That explains the contageous aspect and it also means that we are paying attention...
There really isn't a need to get an incubator......just put the eggs in a plastic container with a bit of peat and place them around the water heater. We've raised leopard geckos and giant day geckos like that and it seems to have a 80% hatching rate. Either way, good luck!
A 24mm lense would still be a half decent wide angle, coming out to about 38.4mm. But yes, If you are looking to go as wide as possible without fugging up linear perspective, then it won't be for you.
I'm guessing you want something with a good range in it. Nikon put's out a 18-70 F3.5 ED-IF...
South Philly, more than likely right after I leave the storage facility.
It would be nice to cover it all by sponsorship but I doubt that will happen. The company I work for is willing to front the photographic supplies I need. I'm going to go talk to the LBS about gear and clothing....and...
Yeah, It's a bit much to ask of someone. I guess I'm looking for someone who is as sick as I am of city life and needs adventure. Someone who can pull their own weight and what not. It's always good to travel with someone else I hear.
I'm working on getting sponsorship from Nikon, Canon...
So, I've got this New Years resolution. Basically, when my lease is up in May, I'm going to ride from Philadelphia to the southern tip of Chile on a photographic expedition. I've already started to search out sponsorship and all that jazz.
Is anyone interested in joining me. I know that I've...
Good luck, we got 2 of them in. I guess Nikon is sending them out in waves. The first guy on the list got one and I sold our demo today. 1700 body only really isnt bad taking into consideration that the focusing and metering matrix is almost identical to the D2X, not to mention the menu and 10.2...
Agreed, 1/100th of a second is fairly low. At 2.8 none the less! Is this mid-day shooting or more dusk/night. Bump the ISO up a bit to somewhere around 400-800. It will increase shutter speeds and you may be able to go to somewhere around F4-5.6 and get a little more depth-o-field.
Surly Cross check is a good option for that, just keep 2 sets of wheels or tires. Another thing you might want to look at is a on-one il pompino. I LUV mine, I threw some flat bars chopped down a little more narrow than my shoulders with 23c tires, fixed gear and I cant get enough, especially...
Jarhead - the reason I'm not in the army. Just for kicks I rented his other film Dead Man with Johnny Depp....it was decent.
Fast Cheap and Out of Control - an oldie but a goodie....the guy that studies the naked mole rats kinda looks like one.
Animal Love - A german documentary about...
Holy chit!
All of that was NO FUN.......
Yes, I stayed, Yes I wish I hadn't but geeze, that's something to tell the grandkids about.
I relocated to philly and life is almost back to normal. I'm a lot better off than others right now but things were looking pretty bleak for a while. I had...
