I really like the feel of the DJ flyer.

I can get it for about $700
They do sell S&M though I think it would help them out to take the SE. They do take good care of me. They sold me my XC bike just over cost. 33 pounds seems kinda porky though.
Hey guys, just a couple questions. I am looking for a bike to take to Ray's this winter and hit the jumps with my kid. I figure a 26" DJ bike would be a good choice. Forks. Is the DJ 3 a decent enough fork to hold up at least for awhile? I assume it is a coil spring fork? TT lengths/sizing...
How can I run a carbon fork on it? The very thing I like most about the my bike is holding me back from buying this! kinda ironic. I really dont wat to drop $700 for a fork for a SS. Then again a Foorward components BB is looking better. I would like to have a geared bike also though. ---Mike
I would say for the biggest gains change the crank and wheels. Then maybe the fork? Remember, lighter is not always better. What does the 2 weigh? Who cares what the scale says really. How does it feel when riding? My XTC 1 is 26.2 and while a couple lbs lighter would be cool. It wont make...
I had a big get off on my XTC Tuesday. Bike is fine. Me ---not so much. Seperated shoulder. 25 mph over the bars!! Rested all week and did a MTB TT on sunday. I got to give this bike a lot of credit. Tight twisty sections handled great. Tight twisty downhill stuff let me use the front...
When you have success a certain amout of people will be haters. The guy almost dies of cancer. He comes back and kicks ass. He is winner in my book all day long. Love him or hate him he is faster than everyone. I guess if he handed out balloons during the tour that would be better for his...
I just wanted clipless pedals that I can get out of! The Time are great. I dont have to try to get out like the 'beaters. I get squirrley on a log ride and I am out. I think Time or Shimano are the way to go.
Any more word on the tube less situation? I would love a little more cush on the roots. I am running 40 front and 50 (psi) rear. I got a pinch flat on some harsh roots with 40 psi in the rear. I am real comfortable on the bike now and am liking it even more! I would like to get the fork...
I like the Time pedals so far. They are easier to get out of than the 'beaters in a panic situation. Usually easier to get in. My shoes are messed up from the eggbeaters. My left shoe is worn funny and now it floats around on the cleat. I will get some new shoes soon and I think i will be...
Nice. I had the shop ask them about this while he was on the phone with the rep. He said "The rims are Tubless compatable". They told me to get a Stans kit. I guess I am screwed?
I road last night. I got into an area that had a bunch of down trees. The 29 really rolls over some junk...
