I got a 2010 mongoose boot'r team which has the stock tune A vivid 5.1.
It's a fantastic bike, love it to death, but its got its flaws... I'm not very happy with the way the rear end tracks. I love how the bike jumps and soaks up drops, but I don't like how it handles in the rough, chatter...

I changed the spring to soft and I purposely tried to bottom it with botched landings and horrid riding and I just couldn't do it. I also did slide the dropstop down like you suggested but then when I took a look at the spring again the dropstop slide back up an inch or so.

my 2010 boxxer team felt sticky and not supple on the small stuff. Pulled out the lowers today, changed the oil, 40ml to coil side and 10ml to rebound side, greased the seals and now the fork is smooth as butter.
