    I did it for my son's bike, I put 24" wheel in the back of a XS frame, bought old FSA Moto X Gravity cranks (not hollow) and cut them to around 135 mm, he still rides them (now on my old 26 Nukeproof Mega M) and he loves them.

    I ride my dirt jimper with tubless Maxxis DTH and often witness what you describe - small holes open, ussualy when its hot on jumps. I put tubless plugs and they work, if I don't have at the moment - some dry straw. I use Stans regular too.

    The Ramp Control is an air spring, in 170 mm the chamber is biggest, so it becomes too progressive at the end, even with Ramp control in minimal setting. Lower it and you'll get more travel, I red it in the Empty beer tread and it works. I even thought to ask Derek about removing the Ramp...
