Can't wait to get up there...it'll be my first time to ride Whistler. Thanks for all the trail info. Four of us are driving up from Nor Cal July 15-21.
Just got my 66 SL1 back today. Just a 12 day turn around on the service at Marzocchi. :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
After all the horror stories about the turn around time on service I called and talked to a service rep. After a week they hadn't even opened the box. He said he would...
My 07 SL1 leaked air out of the ATA the first week of riding. I sent it back to Marzocchi...they fixed it and got it back to me in about 12 days. Good turn around time for this time of year.

Rotating mass carries the most noticable weight. Changing to lighter wheels, tubes, tires, cranks, pedals will yield a significant difference on a scale but an even greater difference on the trail when these parts are in motion.
It's all about E=mc2 baby... It's amazing what Einstein can...
Is the folsom mtn bike park fun on a 7" fully or is it best enjoyed on a hard tail. I only own the former...just checking out if it is worth the drive.
That wall ride looks sweeeet.
I just got a new 2007 Marzocchi 66 SL1 w/ ATA. I've had it a week and have loved it except...it started leaking air out of the top of the left leg (preload/ATA).
Called Marzocchi and they are gonna fix it...but I'm out of a bike for a couple weeks - BUMMER!
Has anyone...
Good luck getting anything from UPS. I had a frame damaged by those monkeys and came to find out that even though it was insured, they would not give me one penny. They claimed insufficient packaging. I thought, "WHAT? I packed that thing better than the bike manufacturers do!" Then I read...
Trail is not heavily used (one of the nicest parts about it) and it is about 4 miles from the nearest town. Still, I would have liked the person I spoke with to at least feign concern. I've ridden that trail for 10 years and this is the first time I'd ever seen a cougar. I hope it was the last.
Riding a local trail this morning at the bottom of two mile grinder. Head down...settling into the best rhythm I can muster...when, I happen to glance up the trail and about 50 yards away: a mountain lion. Well...the back of a mountain lion anyway...trotting up the trail w/o a care in the...
This morning I had a confrontation with a local land owner who made it abundantly clear that he felt that I was trespassing on a private dirt road (that leads to one of the only substantial trails in our area).
I was very polite and diplomatic in my response as I explained that I am a long...

Bummer! I've had riding related injuries the past two summers. I'm just finished healing from a bruised rib (at Auburn DJ's). I know how frustrating it is! Hope you heal fast with no lasting effects...
I know there is a huge Monkey Meet on Sunday but I can only ride Saturday. Anyone up for an early AM pedal up to the culvert trail and then up to Eastside? Maybe hit up the dirt jumps at the end. I can only ride from 7:30/8am - 11am.
RC's didn't come stock with ProPedal until 2004. What year is the shock?
Also, DHX over DHX Air for sure...Oly's correct about the leverage on the Scream.
Kirkwood is good for advanced XC but if you are going to drive that way, there are far better trails that are on HWY88 at Carson Pass and Silver Lake that are very tech and freeride friendly...you just have to do some pedaling (and pushing).
Horse Canyon (near Silver Lake) is like Toads...
Definately more work to pump the transitions on the Stinky...I usually DJ on my SC Heckler but I'm too stoked on my new Stinky...I ride it for everything right now...Urban, DJ, XC, etc. (Side note: I don't have mad skills for DJ'ing or anything...I'm an old guy who can't do more than 3-4 of the...
