Last day on the job today, new adventure starts Tuesday.

Also, fingers crossed for warranty on the freebub that popped on my fatbike.

Fatbike Pints and Pedals ride is a few weeks away... might have to lace a wheel in a hurry

TGIF,
What brand hub ?

Double dang its been busy today. Early order discount goes away on Sunday. All the folks I've been trying to get to order before now have been calling all day. Good thing, but dude why did you wait until now.
they didn't realize that they were so thirsty for a good load of seed, then it washed over them, a moment of revelation indeed

Fixing my old Echo chainsaw was a success.
Needs a new clutch though.

Still yearning for a new eStihl. Lets see if dark Friday delivers.

Making moussaka for dinner.
I give my eHusq a solid 7/10, but I've never had a decent gas chainsaw.

Been snowing here for a solid week, flakes got big and fluffy this afternoon. Honestly going for a ride on the fat bike in the woods with gently falling snow and no sound other than my own violent cursing would be pretty awesome right about now.

Needs some snowshoers to do their loops first. The 2ft we've had so far this week would be nice to get out on before the 50F on Sunday, but I know it would just be a slog.

if you had an e-fatbike...

:D

I wonder how my ridiculously tall-geared commuter would do at a snowed-in White Ranch once I get those 2.00" wide studded Schwalbe Marathon Winter Plus meats on it...

(probably very poorly, honestly)

Had to fire the local engineer today,

He said he could deliver in "1 or 2 weeks." for a simple retaining wall, That was a month ago, and yesterday, he sent me the agreement and bill.

He was billing for $7500 and hasnt even started on it yet. For context, in the same month, I had plans drawn from scratch and engineered for less than half the cost in under 3 weeks.

Good on you, what a fool.

Spent the day helping my buddy get his RV squared away for his departure for Tombstone. Why would anyone want to move to the rural AZ border...

Then I'd have an even heavier moped to push back up the mountain :p

Very badly.

Been redecorating upstairs. Shopping for curtains. Ugh. Talk about 50 shades of grey. Or beige. And actually more like 500. Do not want.
Built about a third of bike this morning though so that was nice. And a selection of Garage Project’s latest yummy beers in the fridge to look forward to.
