Up early and trying to make my employer money.

Then they came out with the pay reduction paperwork this morning.

Insurance is going up.
We had our end of year update. We aren't going back to full salary yet, but possibly by the end of Q1 if sales are strong. So I am still at 90%. Not as bad as unemployment, that's for sure.

Short respite from the rain this morning. Fuck has it been wet this month!

Need to go check the deer fence later. It looks like we have one deer who has found a way under, over or through the fence. Little bastard is eating my apples and leafy greens.

so when i was out of town on sunday night the 14yo apparently turned on water for a bath and forgot about it. so....currently demoing the floor of the upstairs bathroom and will then rent dryers and a dehumidifier. gonna need to re-do the ceiling of the room underneath too. i can handle re-tiling but might call someone in to redo the ceiling. because fuck that shit.

Don't tub fixtures come with overflow drains any more?

I had a science teacher in high school that supported "retroactive abortions."

No way that sort of "humor" would fly these days... :D

Dental cleaning done. Another glowing report and a "keep doing what you're doing". They would probably be horrified if I told them how long it's been.

Need to hang the bathroom mirror today and continue with all the piddly finishing details. It'll be nice to have a single room in the house thats 100% done.

Probably cheaper to fly me out to take care of things.

Haha. Not sure this particular creature is even legal for taking. Hoof prints are really small as are the droppings. For now it’s a minor inconvenience, but I need to break the habit/ cycle.

Once the grapes start producing, wildlife damage becomes financial damage. At that point I apply for a “predation permit.” Extra paperwork to be sure, but better than the alternative legal hassle even if the chances of getting caught are small.

How long is the fast beforehand? I have one in the new year some time.
just one day. avoid things with lots of nuts in it for the week before--nobody wants to see that, least of all the gastroenterologists. then a day of clears--and Diet Coke counts as a clear!--plus taking the prep.

ask for SuTab as the prep. I hear it's better than the liters (literally) of GoLytely that's the standard. that last liter is rough.

Longest day ever coming up then. Plus I eat nuts pretty much every day and if I've ever drunk diet coke it probably wasn't this century.

I took the Suprep both times, which is basically two 16 oz drinks eight hours apart. I shotgunned them...it took twelve gulps and the last couple were rough. :dead:

All clear on the colonoscopy though! It was only three years since my last one, and now they told me seven years until the next one. I'm happy about that!

So I got to call blood pressure tech support today, that was fun. She had me do some basic plug and unplug stuff, then made sure my cuff was snug, but not too tight, then run a reading. 162/95. Not a great start. Switch to the right arm, 164/98. So I had to pay $18 to mail it back, but they are supposed to send me a new one "because we don't repair or recondition" and I should have it in like a month. The wife paid like $100, so it would be cool if it worked. Not that I actually have high blood pressure to monitor, but I will eventually.

With 6th, IME, it’s not so much keeping up on mile 1,5,10, or 15…it’s keeping him in sight on mile 20, 25, 100, 200…:p

(that is out of the limits of my experience, lol)
Good point. I can make sure the route includes multiple citibike docks to grab fresh eebs.

is this a commercial property?
It depends on whom I am talking to. As far as the state, county, TTB and OLCC are concerned, yes, it’s commercial. I haven’t had reason to talk with the ODFW yet, but when I do, I will treat the property as commercial.

Fwiw, we also live on the property, which makes it residential also. This is confusing as hell for bureaucrats of both the private and public sector varieties.
