Double whammy. Too much shit to do in too little time and it's going to be in the hundreds again today. Coffee me nao Oh yeah I almost forgot. Today marks four months since I had my ankle reconstructive surgery.

Work is killing my brain. Im > < this close to operation and have a host of issues we aren't fixing nearly quickly enough.

Last night's quick ride after the rain was a good un-stressifyer

Summary: Ride more.

^^^ what Nick said.
Racing the sunset on ride last night forced me to put the hurt on myself.
Poor bike had quite a bit of aggression channeled through it but the world is a better place as a result.

Hello holy fucking shit lmao!! I swam 4000 yards before work will now spend the rest of the day eating everything, as that tends to happen on those long swim days.
when i was a swimmer, my caloric intake was absolutely insane. on my high school team our afternoon practices (3 hours) were routinely 5000 yards or more. the real killer ones were when we were doing 10,000 yards or more.

Body decided that it needed to poop immediately after taking a shower. Come on now, get with the program body. That aint right.

Lodging for Burke and Killington has been secured for the trip in August.

Headed up north for the weekend to the lady friend's parent's cottage. Have some fun, easy riding planned for tomorrow at a place that is all vast expanses of rolling Canadian shield rock.

Smooth rock like this..

We hiked here in the winter at dusk and as its a light preserve, the stars were quite the view.

(not my pics)

Coffeeing it right meow. Then shall upgrade our antivirus server and hope nothing gets BORKED, join weekly team meeting and then head out for the day. w00t.

I have been known to enjoy an after-shower poop in addition to a pre-shower poop. Toto Washlet makes it irrelevant. Magic, I tell ya

FIF?

Also props for local roaster coffee. Fortunately every job I held was super close to a good coffee shop so I stopped buying coffee.

FTS is strong for FIF. Vacation starts tomorrow, unless I can convince the wife and kids to roll out this afternoon/evening. If it was just me, I'd be rolling from the office about two or three PM. It is going to be a wild week at my family get together with a metric shit ton of antagonistic family. Mom (OCD planner and general stress carrier can fun-suck sometimes), Aunt, Uncle, Brother #1, Sister in law #1, Me (hope i don't get in a fight with brother #1), Wife, daughter, son, Brother #2(called sister in law #1 a nasty name at her wedding reception), Sister in law #2 (I hope her wacky religious beliefs, domineering attitude over brother #2 and perpetual tardiness don't cause issues) nephew #1, nephew #2, Sister #1(she will likely insult sister in law #1 at some point), brother in law#1, Niece #1, Niece #2 (this one can be a scary handful at times), Brother #3, Sister in law #2, Niece #3 and Nephew #3. Two nephews and a niece can't make it for a variety of reasons. Most of those people are all living in one house for the week. At least my immediate family is sharing a condo with the Aunt and Uncle on the other side of the island, so we can gain a little separation when (not if) things go a little sour. this is great, because the fishing is better at the condo's dock then the house dock, we have a pool and the beach is closer. Golf, fish, beach, drink, eat & repeat.

On a more positive note, a local community based newspaper did a write up on my son, regarding his win at the USATF JR Olympics Regionals, which was kind of cool. after practice last night, when coach was giving the kids specific instructions on what to work on during the coming off week, he just told my son to keep on with what he does, so again, kind of cool. Any bets on whether my middle aged siblings hurt themselves trying to throw the discus or shot put at the beach?

PM inbound to you CO monkeys. Doubt I'll have time for a ride, but perhaps we can choose a place to meet up and grab a beer.

I still remember being at track and field camp and watching one of our counselors try to drop a shotput over the head of another. He didnt, hit the kid in the head, and kid had to be carted away in an ambulance. So as long as your kids dont play those sorts of games...

I am not worried about the kids, it is the adults that are dangerous. A 12# steel ball is no toy to be dropped on someones head. Thats the damn troof. Although with the copious amounts of alcohol that will be imbibed, I can't swear that a dick swinging contest won't occur where this could happen.

When I was rowing I was eating 7000+ calories per day, not including beer, and losing weight. Such is the nature of massive training.

Just got off a phone call with our Salesforce specialist. I was not trained on it and shockingly haven't been doing it right. I get to go back into the system and re-log every fucking meeting I have had since mid-June. Son of a bitch. At least my numbers will likely end up looking better.

Two states, two financial institutions, and @FSM only knows how much time on the phone, I've been told that the title to the Jeep is finally on the way to my house. Shit like this is why I hang onto a vehicle until it's literally falling apart underneath me. Fuck absolutely everything about purchasing a car.

I decided to drive the M today because I was running late and it's nice out, so why the fuck not. I just pulled up to a client location and two guys in their early-30's coming out bee lined to my car and started doing the slack-jawed walk around. I had the shades and window screen up but hadn't gotten out of the car yet. They were talking about the specs of the car, how fast they are, etc. When I got out they just stopped and one of them said, I shit your not, "I LOVE your car. This thing is amazing!" I decided to have some fun as I was walking in and left him with "Thanks. It's an unbadged Dinan at 500hp too". I think their heads damn near exploded. That being said, it wasn't until I got inside that I realized that I should have told them it was for sale. Derp.
