Thursday. ride night. but I won't be riding. I'll be picking my mom up from the airport. maybe I'll join my buds at the pub afterwards. Tomorrow is my wife's birthday. I took the day off to spend time with her, but she just wants a bit of alone time. fine. I'll go for a ride and meet you for lunch. win-win.

Why you only Thursday? I like the idea of a 3 day weekend, but I am unsure if I have plans for it. I need to give my wallet a break, but the truck is almost MVP status (most viable product).
Only a few meetings and boss is wfh. I will likely be in the shed if anyone needs anything.

It's kind of a slow day...really, the whole week has been dragging as everyone is knocking out vacations and such. I had to burn up some PTO time to recover from my hernia surgery last month, so I will not be vacationing this year with the rest of the family as I now have 1 day remaining of the 5 I get.

Apparently the dive-ass brewpub we always start our Thursday night rides from (and the Pint-to-Pint from) was seized by the police and tax authorities on Tuesday. Owner cleaned out the safe and skipped town on Sunday. Some shady shit has been going down for months or years, apparently. Hot dang.
