Screw riding in the temperate mountain breezes!! My ass will be pounding out the sandy miles while quaffing BLLs on the roasting coast. I usually slip away to take a lap at Blue Clay or Brunswick trails there and I was pleased that the temps on the coast were "only" in the mid-upper 80's. Being the wise man that I am, I checked the predicted temps for a few miles inland where the trails are located--98+ with infinity humidity. FML. Gonna have to be really drunk to ride that shit now...

It's kind of a slow day...really, the whole week has been dragging as everyone is knocking out vacations and such. I had to burn up some PTO time to recover from my hernia surgery last month, so I will not be vacationing this year with the rest of the family as I now have 1 day remaining of the 5 I get.

Much ado about climbing... would not put Copper on your list as a must do unless there is literally nothing else open. They have done an excellent job building trails but the area lacks interest and features unique to Montana. Would ride again because the male female ratio was 70/30 and... one mudhoney arrived to ride in heels / office attire and was just beginning to change as I left the lot. True storey with witnesses.
