Haley's first ride on the new bike was awesome. Did a substantial climb with some decently technical for a 9y/o sections that she got a lot of, which she never got before. Descending was totally different animal too. Was able to take the lines she wanted and take some sections she's had to walk before.

Hello, friends! I spent an hour running around the high school track this morning. It was disgustingly humid. Sitting here with my coffee now.



I like having the Euro sportyball on the TV during the work day. I kind of got into it during the pandemic when it was the first sport to return to play. Now after watching the European leagues, I put on the MLS and cringe at how bad it is.

I always like the world cup and euro cup more fun to me the club games these days.

So, almost rear-ended a yearling moose on my ride tonight. Didn’t see momma, and didn’t stick around to find out where she was. Came out by moonlight...kinda spooky. Lots of “HEY BEAR!!” And “HEY MRS. MOOSE!!!”

Edit: Roughly 20% of our population is under 14, can’t currently get a vaccine under 16 (but @Toshi ‘s kids are helping out here, thanks again, Toshi) so target is actually ~4m x2.
