Had a magnificent ride yesterday after work--some trails riding, hit all our jumps, drank beers. Then date with the missus for the first time since the second kiddo showed up. Gonna hang with kids this AM and prob get an afternoon ride in... First, breakfast burritos.
Guess my bike will be sitting for 2 days ~20 miles from my house because the fedex location does not work on the weekends

With UPS, I can use their app to have packages held at their office (conviently by my office) so I can pick them up without them trying to deliver it.

tried to sleep in. dogs rousted me twice before I said ok...found puddle on tile floor by back door. I guess I should have gotten up. Coffee, food then go take the reconfigured road bike out for a 30-40 mile spin
Attempted skiing with the family this morning. Didn't leave until 6:30, which is too late. Stuck in traffic between exits for over an hour, expected 2+ hours before getting to the mtn so said fuck it. Drove home and are at the children's museum now. Ski tomorrow.

Buddy had his first bike ride of the year today. He purchased his first "real" mountain bike back in the fall and today was our first ride together. I supplied the mid-ride beers and he brought out some extra fine post ride brews. Impressed.

You just have yolo and go faster. This is from last year; that's not rain, but ice falling from the trees. A few pucker moments, but generally you'll come out a-okay.
