I actually don't know anyone at work who is into motorcycles. We have one wingsuit flyer (!), the usual batch of skiers, a hardcore trail runner who is suitably built like a stick, and a bunch of people who are way more concerned about their school's rating than what they drive. This latter group probably has never twisted a throttle.
Oh yeah, much fun was had. I took the road bike out and covered 41 miles in 2:40 climbed over 2400'. The lightweight aero wheelset made a huge difference.
Half marathon today chewed me up and spit me out. 1:40:58 on a hilly af course. Still a respectable finish (101 out of 601 overall), but I was hoping to be 5-6 minutes faster. Whatever....yay exercise! Oh, I swam too. After though, not during the race.
Wind has kicked up quite a bit. Not a good time to be in the woods. I've seen 2.5" dia. branches that have been driven 3-4" into the ground. No thanks.
I climbed over pinnacle of my own accord. Was not fun in any way, Will not being doing it again anytime soon based on current fitness level. My bike is suited for the experience not me.... No excuses...
