A good buddy of mine from work texted me yesterday about a job he's applying for. He left the company about 1yr ago and isn't liking it, so will probably come back (we have really, really good benefits). The job? Same as mine. I'm putting in the referral today because if he gets it, I get $1k. Plus, we're back to working together, which is awesome.

It is not a money making day for me, I should apply for jobs.
Had to have a look at a friend's forklift, so I took my bike because he is 1km from some nice trails.
The forklift doesn't turn off when you switch the key off, also needs the sideshift cyl resealed and needs an electronic conversion for the dizzy.
Guessing the sense and ignition wires on the alternator are bass ackwards or shorted and that's keeping the ignition alive after the key is off.

weekend back in NY with the inlaws- delightfully drama free, and also boring as fuck. I love CNY and wish I could bring my bike for a morning ride without drama...I always catch heat and it's not worth the trauma. A couple of the boys asked her about it and how fast it goes, probably thinking K1. She flexed and dropped the "65+, but the new kart I'm getting in Oct will do 75."

Will close in 2 weeks, already getting a new address for the property on the street it will be accessed from, will then use the new address to submit the excavation permit and will have a driveway and pad probably the same day as closing. Will file the permit as a duplex so I can build a shop with an ADU and move in then take the time on the house and not have to be rushed.

As long as the county cooperates with an electrical and plumbing permit I could be moved in and finalized on one-half of the permit in less than 3 weeks after escrow closes.
