I am seriously thinking about renting and just put my money in the bank when I sell the house. I have made good money off my real estate but at the moment I am a little worn out but of course not being in the house all the time and having it for sale also changes the whole outlook. I was up at 4am enjoying my jet lag. On the bright side lunch is served in 7 min. Onwards and upwards my!

/me will be going to HRH eventually today. but not yet. going to wait out traffic and my physical presence there judging by the schedule is probably 100% superfluous. so showing up at 10 or 10:30 will be fine, working from home until leaving time. (it's 1 hour of traffic to get there now. yeah, nah)

Morning Monkeys.

New build day, yay! We had three yesterday, so this should be good. I asked for 3 weeks to test the release and I haven't gotten past 4 days without needed a new build. We were supposed to release like 2 weeks ago, ugh.

HBD @jonKranked

Been following the data on Milton, as a meteorologist I find this storm to be both impressive and historical. It is seemingly becoming the biggest cell on this side of the planet and it is about to push the mathematical limits of the earth’s possibilities in the gulf. Definitely going to be a wreck

With a very small eye at less than 3 miles and winds at 192 mph, it will surpass a rare threshold that just five storms have reached since 1980 thus calling for a new storm category.

Only five hurricanes have dipped below 900mb in official records dating back more than 170 years, Milton weakened ever so slightly to a pressure of 924 mb this morning but will gain again in the next couple days

I really fucking hate these open concept 'work spaces'. Who the fuck in their right mind ever thought it would appropriate for humans. I can't believe I still have 15 years before I can retire from this shit.

I'm listening to someone on a Teams call talk about how they fucking peel pomegranates. FFS.

I have retained my employment. This is to my benefit.

It's even better when multiple people in the same area are on the same call, so you can hear them through their mic and everyone else's too, because muting yourself is hard as is not talking over other people.
